The change of season created havoc today! The convenor made the mistake, in the previous report, that today’s hack would start at 08h00. After personally communicating with all hackers, it was confirmed we are now on Autumn/Winter time and all hacks going forward will start at 08h30. Until we see Summertime again! Pringle Bay Hack Report No 132

On 25 February 2018 the Pringle Bay Hack Group convened at Drostergat at 08h00. At January’s hack it was agreed that the Pringle Hack would assist with the pine hack across the Buffels River. So, we moved there in our numbers today! The pines were gone, but the Spider Gum trees, which survived the fire by depositing millions of seedlings and coppicing on the mountain slopes of Small Hangklip Mountain, were the challenge! PRINGLE BAY HACK REPORT N0 125

- Chris Geldenhuys, Convenor After the storm in early June (the 6th and 7th), the general opinion was that Pringle Bay would not be the same again: the sea level was the highest in the last 30 years, resulting in kelp washing up into Ann Road and a great deal of sand disappearing from the Pringle Bay beach.
