Question 6

Do you have any suggestions or comments?

  • A serious attempt needs to be made to inform and involve more non-whites on the inherent value of the Fynbos and natural environment.
  • I see a need for the KBBs to reach out to the community and educate them on the correct way to ‘clear’ property – and guide them on what to plant – Tim Attwell’s book was excellent but if you could say have a hands on demo for the holidays showing what plants would be good to plant – or a monthly few plants which are in flower and can be planted in gardens, how water wise they are and what areas they will grow in would be wonderful – and have the nursery have them for sale.
  • Not at this point in time:-)
  • Enormous appreciation for the work of Committee members, especially the Chairperson.
  • I am apologetic about being so unwilling to make a positive contribution – it feels all wrong but I am already full committed to supporting Pikkewyntjies School and all my time and donations go to it.
  • More events aimed at a younger market – more contemporary. Music events at Harold Porter Gardens
