Merrilee Berrisford Qhayita Secondary School pupils admire the gift books Last year a BotSoc member living in our area, someone who chooses to be anonymous, offered to buy the six books in the Indigenous Knowledge Series by Cambridge University Press for the Kogelberg branch to give to a deserving school. Both Curator, Berenice Carolus, and Eunice Jurgens, Senior Environmental Education Officer at Harold Porter NBG, were unanimous that Qhayiya Secondary School in Zwelihle, Hermanus, was the obvious choice.
