Pringle Bay Hack Report No 136

It was at the back of most hackers’ minds that on 24 June 2018 we would not be hacking due to possible rainy weather. We were waiting for the crucial sms cancelling the hack, which never came! Despite the weather and a few raindrops, 28 members of the Pringle Bay Hack Group convened at Drostergat. Pringle Bay Hack Report No 134

On Earth Day, 22 April 2018, the Pringle Bay Hack Group convened at Drostersgat to celebrate our blessings in being able to do our bit for our beloved Earth. We tackled the monstrous Rooikrantz (it has been an eyesore for a number of years) at the Hangklip, Buffels and Stream roads intersection. That kept us very productive until teatime, whereafter we moved to the High-level and Flat roads intersection to tackle the ever-present Australian Myrtle. Pringle Bay Hack Report No 131

On 28 January 2018 the Pringle Bay Hack Group convened for the first hack of 2018. We agreed to adhere to our summer start time of 08h00 until further notice. The target today was mainly Rooikrantz, along Hangklip - and False Bay Roads. Although the hacking was tough, the numbers in the Group made the big Rooikrantz trees disappear quickly. PRINGLE BAY HACK N0 110

Chris Geldenhuys, Convenor On one of the hottest days this summer, the Pringle Bay Hack Group convened on 31 January 2016 to perform a very productive hack in Andre and Allen Roads of Pringle Bay. The major challenge was the Rooikrantz bushes. See the before and after photos below. Despite the heat the attendance was overwhelmingly good with a total of 27 members!
