The Wednesday Hack

Work continued on the slopes of the Klein Hangklip Mountains between Pringle Bay and Rooi Els. Waterbessies were cut on Bass Road in Betty’s Bay and Rooikrans on Hangklip Road, Pringle Bay. During the month, 70 man-hack days were thrown at the enemy. Pringle Bay Hack Report No 145

PRINGLE BAY HACK REPORT N0 145 On 27 April 2019, Freedom Day, a group of dedicated hackers reported to launch an attack on the invaders of Pringle Bay. Despite all the festivities in the town centre, we managed to kick off at 08h30. Some hackers had to address family matters at 06h00 to be on time for the hack. Now that is dedication! Chris Geldenhuys, Convenor With a serious winter storm brewing, the Pringle Bay Hack Group started the hack on 26 June 2016 in Peter Road of Pringle Bay. The primary challenge was the ever-present Rooikrantz, some of them real monsters. Chris Geldenhuys, Convenor In the morning mist the Pringle Bay Hack Group started the hack on 29 May 2016 in Flat, High Level and Surf roads of Pringle Bay. The primary challenge was the Australian Myrtle with a number of the ever present Rooikrantz. Although most of the Myrtle were small plants, they posed a sure long-term threat. Ed Silberbauer Next Hack no 634: Same venue - open ground opposite the Centre Shop parking area at 9am on Sunday 7 February 2016. A calm clear day, but so hot that most people spent the morning in the sea water – and who could blame them?
