WALKS PLANNED FOR 2018

17 MARCH 2018

March is about Nivenia and the Amaryllidaceae. After the rigours of last month’s adventure in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, it’s time for a much more leisurely stroll in the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden.

We’ll go looking for Nivenia stokoei and all the Amaryllids we can find – Brunsvigia, Haemanthus, Ammocharis, Amaryllis belladonna. We’ll wander over Bobbejaanskop and see what else is flowering too.

Meet at Harold Porter National Botanical Garden at 09h00 on Saturday 17th March 2018. Guests are welcome. Bring your own refreshments or settle down to tea or coffee at the restaurant.
