THE BATTLE OF BETTY’S BAY: HACK REPORT 646

We did not bring as many friends as on the last hack, but the attendance was again excellent. Thank you to all who attended. The weather was kind and the troops motivated, so a huge number of the enemy succumbed to its wounds. There are only some isolated spots of Rooikrans left on Porter Drive, but these will be left for a later date.
Jane Fearnhead provided the sandwiches and Merran Silberbauer the tea. Thank you ladies! Also thank you to Penguin Place for donating the bread for aforesaid sandwiches.
Those attending were: John and Andrea Benn and son Allan, Martin Bensch with sons Sean and Michael, David Bossenger, Carole Roberts, Tom Dreyer, Rosemary Fowkes, Natalie van Wulven, Jeannie Harning, Sandra Horn and son Liam, Jan and Betsey Joubert, Barry and Galia Manicom, Anke Riemenschneider, Ulli Niemann, John Whitehead, Peter Rondi, Ed, James, Caroline and Lewis Silberbauer, Frik Potgieter. Chris Geldenhuys did not attend but made up for his absence by hacking on the Monday – thanks Chris.
Next Hack: Sunday 2nd April 2017 at 8h30 on Fair Road. Turn down Court Road from Porter Drive and follow the road until you see my car parked.
